Members
One Planet Products is a member led not-for-profit social business. All Members inform our choice of products and give regular feedback on performance and operational issues on the products. Our exclusive Members meetings are also a perfect opportunity to learn and share with other Members who are committed to reducing the environmental impact of the building industry.
Membership
Core membership is available to a small number of organisations who would like to guide the expansion and development of One Planet Products. Core Members meet bi-monthly to guide the product selection and prioritise areas of research. Core members will also have a number of additional benefits (see below) which will compliment their own green procurement strategies.
Open to developers, housing associations, local authorities and contractors and allows members to research and purchase One Planet Products discounted products, attend the Members only meetings and can obtain free and discounted places on our CPD events.

Open to non-developers including architects, quantity surveyors, consultants, individuals, students, charities and NGOs. Associate Members have the same access to the research and environmental savings, can attend the Members only meetings and purchase half price places on our CPD events, however the One Planet Products discounts and purchasing is not available.

Fees
In light of the feedback from members about the membership fees we have reduced the fees and increased the levels from three to five which should make it easier for smaller organisations to join.
Core Membership is available at £10,000 per year. For more information please contact Mark Watson.
Fees for Members and Associate Members are included below and based on turnover (Members) or number of employees (Associate Members). To join please complete the online application form here.
All fees exclude VAT which will be charged at 17.5% where appropriate.

Membership benefits
One Planet Products identifies potential suppliers of environmentally friendly / beneficial products and then undertakes an assessment of the products in relation to the One Planet Living® principles. Should this assessment be satisfactory the products are listed on our website with detailed environmental information, including CO2e and Water saved. We also assess our suppliers in relation to the One Planet Living principles, which is used to provide a supplier ‘score’.
Our product review enables members to select proven sustainable products quickly, without the need for carrying out expensive and time-consuming research themselves.

- Access to data on water and energy saved through purchasing and installing One Planet Products listed products and materials compared to using the mainstream alternative
- Entitlement to free and discounted places on Continual Professional Development (CPD) training events.
- Advice in meeting EcoHomes and Code for Sustainable Homes standards, with the credits available published alongside each product
- Discounts on sustainable products and services
- Members only part of the website, which lists detailed product information.
- Opportunity to give feedback to suppliers on product performance and development.
